YC Concierge level review...do you agree?

Just wondering if anyone that has stayed on the Concierge level agrees with this review:

You will find a WIDE range of reviews for every resort and every concierge service.

That said....our family has stayed at the Yacht Club conicerge several times and will be back there again next week. (3 nights at the CR concierge and 5 nights at YC concierge)

For this trip we received the 5th floor room key so we can take the elevator up (you need a special room key to activiate the 5th floor on the elevator) and check in at the concierge desk instead of the front desk. We haven't always received this key.

Along with the room key we also received a page to fill out and mail or fax back to them for our priority seatings or any other plans. I called instead.

We have always had pleasant CM's - some are more friendly and talkative than others. It's not a big deal to us if they don't look up every time we get out of the elevator...usually we just say hi first. (DD5 is used to the Polynesian and usually says - Hello Ah! - her version of Aloha!)

We stay concierge for a lot of reasons but a big one is being able to get breakfast without having to leave the resort. We have been happy with the food offerings.

Other people can give you more of a report, but I've got to get kids off to school.

Sounds like you want reassurance that the resort - anc concierge are ok - since you will be going there in the future.

The Yacht Club is a beautiful resort at a great location. I am sure that you will enjoy yourself!

I just took a look at the review and I would guess that it is probably at least a year old. It mentions room renovations that were done in 2002. This will be our first time staying at the YC concierge and most of the reviews that I've seen here recently have been positive. I have also already received my key to the 5th floor and I know that private check in is done up there and no longer at the main registration desk. I've only had dealings with the concierge pre-planners so far, but in my view, I would give them an A+. They have gone above and beyond my expectations and have met every challenge and change that I've thrown at them with a smile. I can't imagine that our actual stay at the resort is going to be anything less than magical. I will definitely give a report when I get back.
