YC/BC area restaurant recs

We're taking my 2 cousins (18, 16) and sister(21) to WDW in June. We have plans to eat in the Boardwalk area before a special suprise planned for them (in case they read the boards, I won't reveal it )

In addition, we're having our grandparents meet us for that night. My grandmother will be just a few weeks post surgery (having a kidney removed) and we're having them stay at the YC to make sure she doesn't have to walk very far.

Of all of the YC/BC restaurants, which would be the best? I think everyne would like the steakhouse at YC, but I think it might be a little pricy, although, that might be okay if everyone likes their meal. I also like the idea of the YC Galley, but the menu seems a bit limited. I'm just nervous because my grandmother tends to complain a lot, and if it's too expensive she has a cow (not that they would be paying, it's our treat.) They love the Olive Garden etc, places I can't stand, anyway...

I also really like Palio at the Swan, but I'm nervous the walk would be too far. Any suggestions?

My family loves the YC Galley. the menu isn't elegant like the Yachtsman, but everything is wonderfully prepared. I also think it is one of the better dining values offered at WDW.

I always recommend the Yacht Club Galley. I have never had a problem using the menu as a 'starting point'! If she doesn't see something to her taste, she can always ask the server - this is a very flexible place. Often they will cheerfully offer something no longer on the menu, or a lunch item for dinner, etc.

One of the very best places at WDW for great food, consistently good service, and flexibility. HIGHLY recommend it!

Give Spoodle's a try a the BW. It is reasonably priced, has a great atmosphere and delicious food with a variety that will appeal to everyone. We love it there.
