Its booked. After returning 26th August, and suffering with bad holiday blues, I finally booked our trip for next year. :cheer2:

We are staying at the Rosen Inn (all looks ok on Tripadvisor, would be glad of anyones reviews though).

With hire car (both of us insured), 14 day park hopper Disney (inc all parks, golf and DisneyQuest), and 14 day 2 Park Universal.

Booked through Thomson, so will be flying on the Dreamliner again (flew on it this year and it was very comfortable).

Leaving Gatwick and landing at Sanford (love that airport).

Total cost for me, OH and DD (8) is £5300.00

Problem is now though I am not telling my daughter until the day we go... can I keep it a secret. I already want to tell her, but 327 days is just too long for her to maintain excitement.

:yay::yay: So happy.

What a way to banish the Disney blues.We kept one of our Disney holiday a secret because as you said a year of excitement is hard.Anyway our children say it was the best surprise ever.We woke them the morning of the holiday and told them that they wernt going to school but Disney instead.

SO happy for you! Booked our hol last Sept and had to keep it secret from my 6 yr old son or every day would've been "are we going to Disney today??" Found it easiest to keep a secret when I imagined the look on his face when he found out and kept coming up with new ways to make it EXTRA special.. have me the "Disney fix" I craved and kept the secret going! :) They weren't expensive ways either.. have made Disney luggage tags and got LOADS of brochures and craft supplies and made my own scrapbook with room for him to write a sentence or two each day, stick photos etc. Sounds kinda crazy but trust me, it helped no end! :)

327 days? Then you're heading out there 2 days before me! :D

Keeping it secret would drive me crazy. My DH doesn't want me putting it on Facebook yet that we're going, and I'm already going a little mental because I'm so excited and I just want to tell everyone! ;)

Your plans sound amazing already! :)

How exciting :cool1: we are also looking at thomson for oct 2015 , i think i can book it April 14. They look like the best value for a good quality travel agent to me, so far, with the dreamliner looking really nice too. We used to go virgin holidays but out of our price range now, especially as we now have DD.

Thomson do seem to be VERY good at the min I have to say. Their prices see very reasonable and they seem a lot more family-orientated all round than others whether it WDW or wherever you're going. Hope you find a good deal! :)

I work for Thomson and usually book flights through them and the hotel directly with Disney but for next year it was more cost effective to book a package, so that's what we did :thumbsup2
