My dd first day at school is on Tuesday, I can not believe it! I am feeling a bit nervous however dd is really excited about making new friends. she is only in for a couple of hours the first week so it should not be too much for her to begin with.

yes, very rough terrain in your neck of the woods! need massive 3 litre vehicle to take 2 6 year olds to school!
My Callum ges back on the 6th, not looking forward to the next few months of nagging and pushing him to actually do something while he's there

I'm with you on that, i can't motivate my DS to pay attention at all. I am looking forward to them going back, but they have been at home for 9 weeks You pay all that money for schooling and they're there even less!
It will be quiet around here though, just me and my youngest.....

Natalie - the children look lovely in their uniforms. I'm a mum who has always loved having the children at home. Its been even easier this summer as Glen (13) has not surfaced before 11am, had lunch the off out playing with his friends, took himself off to his karate lessons, come home had tea straight up to his room to play on his x-box! I've only really had Ashley to look after and he's no problem to keep happy. Not looking forward to lunch boxes (the boys have got a shock coming next week, going to try to get them to make them) homework nagging and rushing off to karate club 2 nights a week. Also not looking forward to the next process getting Ashley diagnosed with autism, we have a meeting due just before the half term in October. I used to dread going back to school but I think my two are ready to be back to seeing all of their friends.
