k we decided FOR SURE that we are going february 24th through march 8th. we are doing a multi destinationed trip but will be at disney 4 days, on the 28th through the 3rd! :thumbsup2:yay::cool1:LOL can you sense the joy! it has been about 10 years, from what used to be an annual tradition! but then i moved and met my wonderful husband, we now have a son who will be 18 months when we go. however my DH has NEVER been on vacation before and he went to his first theme park last weekend for my b-day at 6 flags. he never knew what he was missing and he found that out well! hehe. does anyone have any tips for the first timer? i mean, im trying to make a list things to make a point of doing and seeing, and things he HAS to eat there, like churros, hehe. stuff like that. wanna make it special still cant believe were FINALLY going!:woohoo:

:cheer2:I think half the fun of vacation is in the planning, just keep reading the boards and Hydro Guys tips and your trip will be magical....jc

Get your DH a first visit button at City Hall. We got one for my BFF's DFi on his first visit and we had more CM's stop us and chat with us because of that. :) Yes, churros are a must!!! They are sooooooooooooooo good at DL!!!! :) Get him a Mickey bar, take him on the train all the way around the park, start at Main Street and get off at Main Street. Visit the Innoventions and Animation buildings, but most of all have a good time.

I have to second the 1st visit button at City Hall! Actually, I always love getting buttons if I have a reason for one. You get a lot of attention and interaction from the CM's that way and it just adds to an even better experience. And churrros - oh, for the love of DLR churros! I don't think I've ever had better and I go a little overboard on them, and the same with mint juleps from the Mint Julep Bar in NOS. And if you can swing it, I can't recommend doing a character meal enough! I've only done the Minnie & Friend's breakfast in the park to date (but we're giving Ariel's Grotto and Goofy's Kitchen a go in September) and I wish I could begin to describe how much fun it was!!

And someone mentioned the bold is easier for you - HTH!

oh im glad you guys reminded me about the buttons! i TOTALY forgot! lol. and the train thing is actually a really great idea because it would be great for our son too i think!:thumbsup2 and TY for the bold yes it helps alot. dont have to squint the hole time and strain.

You're welcome, even tho you're being rude to me on the other thread, I'm glad I could help. :)
