My 80 year old mom was diagnosed with colon cancer a couple of months ago. She had surgery (they removed a foot of her colon) and numerous tests to see if she had any more cancer anywhere. They thought they saw a lump on her shoulder/upper breast. So now she had a pet scan of her entire upper body. I have been a nervous wreck these past few days. Well, the results came in, there is NOTHING there!
So now, she has begun doing low dose chemo for 6 weeks. So this is gonna be a very happy Thanksgiving for me this year.
Me and Simba are doing the happy turkey dance!
