Yay! Another trip!

I just got the "go ahead" from DH to book a trip May 10-16 for us I'm thrilled. On the down side...there was NO availability for a studio or 1 bedroom anywhere but SSR which was a bit of a bummer. We really wanted to stay at our home resort AKV (Kidani will be open). Anyone else have trouble booking this time?

Never been at that time in May - just wanted to say that getting any ressie under 2 months out is pretty good!



You can waitlist AKV up till 1 week before check in if you choose - just call MS and ask them to waitlist you until the week before - usually its 30 days prior to check in.

I agree that at less than 2 months out you are probably lucky to find any availability anywhere. I called in mid-February to see if there were any studios available for Memorial Day weekend and found only a few open at SSR. I felt quite lucky to have been able to snag one at 3 months out. I would also think that Kidani would especially be fully booked up since it's just opening in May but you could always waitlist for it - you never know!

I changed my waitlist to AKV Kidani and AKV Jambo....do you think I should change it to another instead of Kidani? What is more likely to open up, Kidani or Boardwalk? At any rate, I'm just SO happy to be going again and CANNOT believe I talked DH into it!!!

I had no problem booking Jambo 7 1/2 months ahead of time (could have had Kidani as well). Kidani especially has been very booked for May for awhile due to the opening.

Maybe you'll see something come thru around the 31 day mark but of course that means that other's have had to cancel. Good luck!

I called MS last week to do another spur of the moment trip. We leave one week from today I wanted a 1 bdrm. They had Saratoga available, so I took it. Then this morning DH decided to call again to see if BWV was available. They had Friday & Saturday night available. So now we'll be moving over to SSR Sunday-Wednesday. I can't really complain we always seem to luck out with our spur of the moment trips. MS also told DH they'll redo our ME tkts plus, to keep calling until Thursday incase anymore days become available for BWV.
I just want warm weather Our last trip home 2 weeks ago it was freezing until the day we were going home.
