I posted this on the Budget Board, but since this one gets more traffic, I thought I would post here, too.

My DS got a metal pedal car for his first birthday from DH's parents. I am looking to sell it now, since at age 6, he has long since stopped using it!

This is what it looks like:

I don't know if I would do better selling it in a yard sale this weekend, or take it to one of those EBay stores.

Any help would be appreciated!

You would probably do better selling in on eBay. From my experience you would probably get less than $10 from it at a yard sale.

I agree that you'd prob. do better w/selling it on eBay OR put an ad in a free paper or something. Around here something like that would be priced somewhere around the $20-25 range at a yard sale BUT then of course people would try to talk you down to $15 or 20 maybe. It's nice & worth WAY more than that!

Do you have craigslist in your area? I've sold some great stuff on that site for more money than any yard sale and less than the hassle of shipping and handling on ebay.

Check www.craigslist.org and look for your city.

Nope, no craigslist in my area. Anyone know if I take it to an Ebay store how much of a cut they will take on it?
