I'm going to sell a lot of my "old" clothing at my mom's yard sale this weekend. What is considered to be a fair price? My clothes are in very good condition. I have dresses, coats, jackets, jeans, sweaters, etc. Most of it is brand name. I've never tried to sell clothing before. Any advice?

The only clothing I've sold at a yard sale is children's. I'm not sure how successful you'll be with adult clothing. I wouldn't mark anything over $5 and be prepared for people offering less. Have you considered a consignment shop? Many will buy the clothes up front and you would probably make more. If you're not successful at the yard sale you could consider donating some of it and taking a tax write-off. Good luck.

If you want to make money from your clothes you might have better luck with Ebay then with a yard sale. Things just sell better there. I just made 96.00 on a cake knife and server on ebay that would have gone for less than $10 at a yard sale!
