Yankee Candle experts, I have a ?? for ya!

What is the strongest scented candle...is it the big 22 oz. size, or the tart burners?

Hmmmmmmm, good question.

Sounds like I will have to do extensive reasearch Off to the mall to buy tarts and Jars!!!!!

I do know what the strongest scent I have come across is:

Thanks Deb, I am fairly new to the Yankee Candle addiction!

I only have 4 in Storm Watch, Buttercream, Banana Nut Bread and Orange Cupcake in the biggest size they sell.

I thought I read somewhere here on the DIS that the Tart Burners put out a stronger scent.

Was wondering what everyone thought.

In my opinion, I think the large jars and the tarts are both just as strong, however, the jars last longer than the tarts. The medium jars are as strong as the large jars, but obvisouly don't last as long as the larger jars and of course the larger jars are a better deal than the medium jars.

I agree about Balsam Fir. I try to get the kitchen ones. Sometimes the batches of the same scent can be different. I have gotten watermelon a year apart and there was definately a difference in the scent. I don't know where you live but the flagship store in Deerfield, Massachusetts is a fun place. Gee, maybe a Dis/Yankee Candle meet in the future

On the label it says "Housewarmer, our strongest scented candle"

That's on the bottom of the larger jar and the medium jar.

And no I won't tell you how many I have.

I just started the Yankee Candle thing so I am not sure which is strongest..Have only burned about 4 or 5 of the big jars...Haven't had any that really stood out except for maybe french vanilla..

I was told by an employee of the gift shop where I buy my candles that the Tarts are the strongest due to a higher amount of scented oils.

Our Yankee Candle salesperson said something to the effect that they both are equally as strong but that the oils in the tarts make them seem stronger. This doesn't make a lot of sense to me--but from my experience, the tarts definitely have a more noticeable scent--at least in my large living room..
