My wife and I love the Yak and Yeti quick service location, what is the difference between it and the table service food? Does the table service have the same stuff but just more options or is it different all together? We want to try the table service but want to make sure we can still get some of the same things that we love from the quick service location. Any thoughts???

I find the options similar, but yak n yeti is of a higher quality and larger portion size. Also the food is cooked fresh to order which makes a big difference. They also have tons of other yummy options that the counter service doesn't have and getting inside and sitting down is a great escape from the parks

What specifically are some of the things you would (and would not) recommend at Yak and Yeti TS? And do they tend to get busy at lunchtime?

We loved, loved, loved the egg rolls and the pot stickers are pretty good too. The honey shrimp is pretty solid. I've heard great thing about the ribs but have never tried them. And the cream cheese wontons should not be missed

It's been a few years since my family ate at Yak & Yeti TS restaurant. It was good...nothing bad to say...just not memorable. We LOVE the Yak & Yeti QS location!

Friends highly recommended Yak and Yeti to us on our last trip and all 4 of us LOVED it. We actually had lunch there on Christmas Day. It is now on our TS must list. Can't remember what all of us had but believe one had the ribs and loved them. I do remember the cream cheese wontons - excellent. We sat upstairs away from the crowds and had a nice view.

Table service gets my vote. It's nice to just sit in the shade and enjoy the atmosphere of the restaurant, and having time to look around at everything is definitely worthwhile. DBF and I love to share the dim sum basket (meant to be shared between 2), but honestly everything I've had there is delicious!

Yak & Yeti's dim sum appy is a fun lunch. Won ton dessert is also great. They have non-alcoholic cocktails that are also tasty & refreshing. Particularly if you are planning on bigger rides after lunch & don't want the booze. The decor is really interesting & the kind of thing you hope to see in the park. Enjoy!

Ribs are awesome, duck is pretty good, crispy mahi mahi, beef and broccoli are also very good. Fried wontons for dessert cannot be missed and is the best in the parks IMO. Yak and Yeti is one of the top restaurants. Great service, great food, and the decor is perfect for eating at AK. You will enjoy it.

We do lunch here as well and the TS is even better than QS.

Y&Y TS is one of the few we eat at each and every trip! CS is good, we LOVE the TS. The Restaurant itself is very beautiful, decorated with authentic found items, including the lovely staircase.

Our absolute fav is the skirt steak and shimp

The Dessert Won Ton is FAB!!!

And I have been known to drop in at the bar and order just a piece of the Wonderful Mango Pie!

Everything @kaybird said is true.
I enjoy the CS option, and we usually do that on one of our AK lunches, but was ALWAYS do Y&Y TS. It's SOOO good. I'm surprised someone said it wasn't "memorable". From the amazing hand-carvings and cool artifacts/decor, to the solid food and drinks...even the bar is cool!

Last time we had the dim sum basket for two, I had the Malaysian seafood curry and DH had the Teriyaki Mahi Mahi and the 2 deserts pictured above. Everything was TO DIE FOR GOOD.

Yes, it gets busy, but we didn't have to wait all year to be seated for our ADR.

I am so happy I went ahead and grabbed a lunch ADR for my DD and I in May!:yay: Sounds wonderful and I figured it would be a nice break from the afternoon heat.....Love the pictures that were posted! Looks so yummy!!!:teeth:

Glad to hear such great things about the TS Yak and Yeti!:thanks:

Our go to Yak & Yeti meal!

We must have just been on a bad day because we really didn't like table service at Yak and Yeti. So, I would have chosen quick service! But after reading such glowing reports we might have to try it again!
