Yak & Yeti seating times

We will be at WDW in Dec. and want to eat at the Yak and Yeti for dinner. During that time period AK usually closes around 6:00 or 7:00 pm. We usually like to eat around that time or later more like 7:30 can you still get in the park or do you need to have early ressies? Does anyone know how this works?

I'd like to know about this too. We are planning on going in september on an EMH night and was planning a 5:00pm dinner. Will that be possible? Will we be able to eat there at 5:00pm cause the park will be open till 8:00pm

We are going in August. The Park closes at 5, but EMH is until 8. I was told that the latest dinner reservation is at 4:45. I took it as we are doing the Donald Breakfast that morning. We just won't have lunch. My guess is that regardless of when the park is closing, the last reservation is 15 minutes before that time.

We got the last ADR for the night at 7:30p for Yak & Yeti when the park closes at 8:00p. I assume the last seating is 30 minutes before closing.

We were told the same thing for our August ADR. Even though its the evening EMH's the latest ADR we could get was 4:45pm.

I have a reservation for Yak and Yeti at 6:00 when the park closes at 6:00 - it is a day with EMH evening if that matters.

Also when we tell her to lose the attitude. Sorry a bit off topic. What is the Yak and Yeti. Never been there. Last time we went was in 2005 and I don't remember it then.

They are my kids. That picture was of her in front of the China pavillion. She wanted one of her brother's lollipops and I said no and that was the face she gave me. I actually do love that picture, but I should update it - that picture is from 2 yrs ago (she's now 11.) Thanks so much for your nice words....
