Im trying to get an ADR for dinner on oct 6 and nothing available. I tried lunch dinner that weekend with no luck. Ive never eaten there but wanted to try it. Is it usually popular?

I didn't find it difficult to change our ADR from Tiffins to Yak & Yeti, but we're still 90+ days out. You're less than 30 days out. I would expect things to get tighter. I wish there were more full service restaurants at AK. Tiffins is so expensive that it is a one-meal-per-trip extravagance for many (and beyond the means of many others). Tusker House is a character meal (and many people don't want to pay the extra money for that, at least not more than once a trip). Rainforest Cafe is outside the park and similar to what we have here at home. Pizzafari is a pretty limited menu.

I read once that they only release a certain amount of reservations to Disney but you can call and make a reservation. Not sure if this is true, but when we could not get one through Disney, we called Y and Y and were able to get one. Hope that helps!

Yes! Call them directly, they do only release a small percentage of their ADR's to Disney, when you call they should have plenty of times.

Shouldn't be! We just went in December and we had an ADR....another family just walked up without one and was told 45mins to an hour and that was right before Christmas. Keep trying.

I just tried to make a lunch reservation for Sept 28 and there is nothing available. That, to me, seemed strange. I do have the Landrys card though so was not too woeried.

Tough to get...Yeppers.....Worth it? A B S O L U T E L Y !!!

This is one of our top 3 TS in WDW... Granted we haven't done all/most expensive Sig's, but the service the 3 times we've gone has been spot on, the food excellent, and I love the ambience here....Keep tryin, something might open up..

If you can't get an ADR and don't want the Landry card, going at an off time is usually walk up. During popular times, it is usually full with a waiting line.

We have always had success just walking up. Depending on the time you will usually get a table right away. One time we were with a larger party, just began to rain, and in the noontime hour, and we waited about 15 minutes.

We have always had good food experiences there.

It is a Landry's resturaunt. We will be there September 27 for Lunch around 1:30 with no ADR. We have a Landry's card and we eat there on almost every trip. Looking forward to this one because I have $50 on my card in rewards and my birthday is September 26 so we will have $75 total to eat on that day.

I've found Yak and Yeti tougher to get and we are less than 60 days out. I'm going to purchase the Landry's card and just do a walk up whenever we feel like it. We have 3 different days at AK (split into half days and one mostly full day) so we will decide when to go while we are there.

I'm also planning to sign up for a Landry's card this year -- also for T-Rex. Hard reservations to find these days.

I just went on and ordered mine. We leave in 51 days. My birthday is also in December and we have several Landry's restaurants in my area so I guess that'll be my birthday dinner!
