So after I made some changes to accommodate a MVMCP, I am able to squeeze in another half day at AK.. our other AK day is in the evening and we are doing KS & FOTLK with a dinner at Tusker.
This day is going to focus more on Discovery Island and DinoLand. We are on the DDP so cost isnt much of a deciding factor.
So... if it were up to you.. would you do Flame Tree BBQ or Yak & Yeti for lunch?
Pulled pork fries are calling my name... but so are those wontons!!
If we do Flame Tree.. any good desserts nearby there?? We are sweet tooths!!!

Ok.. seems like Yak & Yeti is the clear winner... maybe I can get the fries as a snack our other AK day

So Wontons dessert is a must.. any other must haves????

Both are good options, but another vote for Yak and Yeti.
We like the Dim Sum basket for 2 for starters.
The miso salmon and Korean beef were very good.

I think flame tree barbecue this one of the most overrated restaurants At Disney.. Yak & Yeti is very underrated and taste very good. I thought the chicken at flame tree was nasty and very dry. I have no desire to eat there ever again.

We used to go to Flame tree and always liked it. The last time we went the birds were annoying and aggressive and turned us off to eating there again. Also we go in September and its really hot to sit outside even down by the water.

Tried Yak & Yeti and have eaten there the last 5 years. Great to sit down in air conditioning and the food is good. But, its the fried wonton desert that keeps me going back. Best desert anywhere in Disney.

Nope... dissenting opinion... Flametree is our go-to every trip to AK. I even figured out how to replicate the rub on the chicken to make at home we like it that much. Yak & Yeti is fine... for a non-Disney restaurant.

The fried rice “side” at Y&Y TS is HUGE. My niece got chicken fried rice the last time we went as a side, and several of us were able to share it (and it was delicious). Don’t know who’s in your party, but if you have pickier eaters who want the basics, that’s an option!

I’m with the PP who said Y&Y TS over all but if choosing between the two QS, I’d choose FT. I didn’t think Y&Y QS was very good. It’s just okay. The birds at FT are super annoying though.
