Isn't there now a 10% DVC discount at Yak & Yeti (20% for merchandise). Does anyone know if it's for lunch only, or is the discount extended into dinner as well?

We want to eat there on Mother's Day (since we can't use DDE on Mother's Day), but I don't want to book the wrong time.

I ate there the other day.

They don't give the DDE discount. They do give a 10% AP discount or a 10% DVC discount, but they only gave me the discount on the entree, not the beverage or the dessert. I didn't have an appetizer, but I suppose they don't discount that either.

I've also been advised that sometimes the AP and DVC discounts are negated on holidays, so I'll make the reservation and check before we're seated.

for entrees, not appetizers or beverages. The waiter said they were part of the rain forest cafe group, and not actually part of disney. He had to take my DVC card and show it to the manager to get the discount, they didn't take DDE, although the waiter said the discounts were in a state of flux. He explained the DDP plan to us (from a waiter view) and how each voucher or meal has a dollar value assigned to it, no matter what the diner orders. The gratuity is figured on that value for the wait staff.

The food was good, the dark beer is good (made by budweiser, but I liked it anyway;).
