I know that you can use a Landry's Gift card at Yak & Yeti...but we have been trying for weeks to get in with no luck. :sad2: Does anyone know if you can use a Landry's gift card at the counter service? :confused3

I have looked all over the http://www.landrysrestaurants.com/ website and have found nothing about their gift cards being useful at Yak & Yeti. Maybe someone else knows. I wish that their giftcards could be used there. I am sitting on a $25 card right now.

I actually called the Yak & Yeti in Animal Kingdom and they confirmed that they do take Landry Gift cards.:thumbsup2 But I forgot to ask about the CS place there. I'll call back and ask today. :)

When are you going? We've easily made an ADR and even walked in here without any problems. If it is a real busy time, did you consider lunch? I think the menu is the same regardless of the meal. Good Luck!

We leave in the morning.:goodvibes but we have been trying to get in for either lunch or dinner for the past few weeks with no luck!
We will try when we get there. Thanks! :)

Did anyone ever get a definitive answer to this question?

I am curious about the answer on this as well. I have a $25 gift card and would not mind using it there as well!!

There is a thread on here somewhere with this exact question because I asked it back in August! We were there over Labor Day and I stopped and asked a CM at the Yak & Yeti counter service if we could use a Landry's gift card to pay and she said no. So that's my answer, however, it'd be nice if the other poster would call and ask to see if she gets the same response. We all know that ALL CM's answer every question the same way, right??? ;)

you shouldnt have a problem when you are at the AK see if you can get in as a walk in

I visited Yak & Yeti with a Landry's gift card at the end of September. Unfortunately, the gift card can not be used at the counter service portion of Yak & Yeti. It can only be used inside at the table service restaurant. The explanation the cashier and I were given is that the registers for the counter service portion are Disney's registers and consequently accept Disney gift cards instead of the Landry ones.

Thanks for the info - I did not know Y&Y was landry's. I got 3 GC from My Points and will use them for breakfast at Rainforest but FIL also got some GC (after I spent all of my points! :scared1:) and we can use them for dinner at Y&Y. We are on the DDP but it will be cool to get some apps :yay:

Thanks for the information, ladies! :goodvibes

Is the new T Rex a landry property as well? Wondering if you can us a GC over there too? :confused3

T-Rex is owned by Landry's. I know that here in Kansas City, KS, our T-Rex accepts the Landry GC so I would think that the one in DTD should also.:thumbsup2
