DH and I were looking forward to eating here, but the menu on Allearsnet has not Indian food on it.

Is it a gloried Chinese restaurant or is the food worth the trip?

We have an ADR for there and are not wondering if we should change it.

Its not Indian food.. It is not the typical Chinese food either.. I think it is more inspired from the Tibet region of China because of the items on the menu and even some things that may be Mongolian.. Things like the Ribs and other dishes are very good though.. I never felt like I was eating at a Chinese place there.

We ate there last Wednesday. We thought the food and service was good. I had the ribs and my kids had some Chinese type offering. They have a better selection of appetizers than main course and I thought it was pricey, IMO. I was glad we went but will not be adding it to our must do list for next year.

Thanks for the replys.

We love Indian food, so the lack of it on the menu was a disappointment. We have great Chinese around here, so we don't do Chinese at Epcot. We have Mongolian around here too. We like it, but again still not what we were hoping for.

There's nothing on the Y&Y menu that's Tibetan; their food isn't like Chinese or Indian. And I don't think anyone wants to try butter tea or tsampa! ;) There's Chinese, Vietnamese, and a few flavors from Indonesia and Japan.

Beware there are no veggie options at Yak and Yeti. I was so excited to eat there, but walked away from the menu disappointed.

Why didn't you just order the stir fry vegetables or the green beans, they would have made you a larger portion.

Y&Y never claimed to be Indian food. It has all ways been touted as Asian fusion. I had the Mahi Mahi when I was there and it was delish.

Yes, our friend went with her sister who is a vegetarian and there was nothing on the menu for her. The manager came out and said we are so sorry-what do you suggest we put on the menu?! :confused3 You think they would have thought of that ahead of time! We have 3 vegetarian friends and 2 vegan friends that we go out to Disney restaurants with a lot. Most of them have several things on the menu they can eat. The chefs at Boma are the best as they will bring out a special soup, main meal and dessert for them in addition to a tour of the buffet!

Thanks for the replys. DH and I just discussed it again and we are ditching this ADR.
