We went to Yak and Yeti last Friday. This is my new favorite Disney restaurant. Service great, food EXCELLENT! We had the prawn chips for appetizers, plenty to share, not real heavy on the prawn flavoring, good dipping sauce. My sister had the roast duck with the orange wasabi sauce. Crispy skin, not greasy, just enough heat from the wasabi to make it tasty not searing hot. I had the Mahi Mahi with the sweet and sour sauce. Asked for the sauce on the side, and they were very accomodating. I can't say enough about how good this was. Cooked perfectly, huge portion I ate around the breading (which was yummy) but the fish really didn't need any help. Portions were huge so no dessert. And if you enjoy sake, try the Zipang. A fruity sparkling sake. Different but very nice.

I had an adr which wasn't needed as the restaurant was not crowded, but as word gets around it will be.

Take the time to look around, the decor is astounding.

We ate at Yak & Yeti Thanksgiving Day '07 (They had just opened) and we had the BEST experience - food AND service!!! We (party of 4 adults and 5 children) had the egg rolls, pan fried pork dumplings, fried rice, lo mein, honey chicken, sweet and sour chicken and the kids had the lo mein. Everything was delicious and as you said - the staff was so accomodating! We just booked our September '08 trip and Yak & Yeti was the only dining reservation that we absolutely had to have again! (I started to write a really bad review about it so less people with go there!) :rotfl: Definitely 2 thumbs up - or I guess you could say 18 thumbs since all 9 of us vote for it!

I'm glad to hear a positive review - we are having lunch here in March and we can't wait!!
:goodvibes

We have an upcoming ADR, I am so excited to try it here!

Thanks,
Mrs. Disney Ron

I can't wait for our 180 mark to hit in March so that I can make an ADR here. We plan to make it our first dinner for our fall trip.
Does anyone know how late their seatings are? I want to eat dinner there but AK closes at 5p that day.

We're already booked up for our May trip, but it's on the schedule for our December trip. Looking forward to it too! :)

Oh Good! I can't wait to try it. They were still under construction when we were there in June, so we made sure to make reservations for our March trip.

thank you for your review!! I'm so glad to see it's positive, I recently added a reservation here for our upcoming trip.

Thanks for the review! I had just made reservations for our last night at Spoodles, 8pm. I read this thread and thought we would give this a try a earlier at 5pm. Got it changed for late April. We have been to Spoodles before and it was good, but I really hated to be out of the parks our last night at WDW. This will be a great place to try-then head to Expedition Everest after dinner! :scared: ( I thought there was a throw up smilie!)

We ate there the start of this month and we LOVED it!!!!

I have been raving about this place... glad to know I am not alone!!!!
