We really loved the food at Yak and Yeti --- in 2009 and 2010. Link below has a review. If going to eat at AK, I'd pick Yak and Yeti... everything there was absolutely delicious.
But it just doesn't feel like a Christmas place to me.... I'd pick some place where there will be more Christmas activity... like the Grand Flordian Resort for dinner. But it will no doubt be more crowded too.
Since it will be a Christmas dinner, maybe Boma at the AK lodge? While Yak and Yeti is nice, like the PP said it doesn't say Christmas to me either.
The AKL is decorated so beautifully inside. It would be a nice treat.
I can remember having Pulled Pork Sandwiches at a BBQ place on Times Square on Christmas day while I was in College (family got snowed in). One of my most fond family memories growing up
Said that to say Christmas memories can happen even with a "not so traditional" menu
I've had the Kobe burger with asian slaw which I LOVED. On our last visit we just shared a couple of yummy appetizers. I saw someones Lo Mein go by and OMG I wished I had ordered it! It looked soooo good! We are going to go back there later this year and I'm getting that Lo Mein for myself. My husband had the steak with shrimp and he really liked it.
