Yet Another Fast P*** + Dumb Implementation.

OK, this is really silly. I'm going to be in Epcot next week on Monday and Tuesday. I only want one FP+ each day, Soarin. I don't want/need FP+ for any other attraction on those days. So why does MDE insist on picking out two extra ones for me?

Yes, I know I don't have to actually use those other FP. I can find no way to cancel those other ones so I'm just blocking somebody else who might actually want to ride those attractions from getting a FP.

Yep, this is up there on the list of dumbest details about this system. But I wouldn't worry about keeping so done from a coveted spot on one of the throwaway FP+ rides. There haven't been any reports of FP+ running out on the second-tier rides.

The MDE website will allow you to cancel individual FP+ selections.

When I try to cancel the two I don't want its seems that MDE just provides two new ones. I don't see the ability to delete two entirely.

See Post #10 in the following thread where a board mod is also able to delete individual FP+ selections. Post #13 also confirms deletion of individual FP+ selections.

Thanks for the link. I read that thread and then went back to MDE to try it and it worked!!!!

I was a bit concerned at first that it would cancel all the FP+ for that day, but it did let me keep the one I wanted.
