Yachtsman or Flying Fish?

Which one do you prefer, and why? (For background info, it is just dbf and I. We don't care about romance, just a nice feeling and good food! Dbf eats meat, I am a pescetarian).

Well we have eaten at Yachtsman at least 3 times and it is good. We ate at Flying Fish in May on a whim and LOVED it!!!! The steak was wonderful, better than Yacthsman.

Flying fish....great atmosphere vs. somewhat formal at the steakhouse.
Flying fish....great food vs. great steak only at the steakhouse.
Flying fish.....great location to exit right on the boardwalk at night vs. having to walk around at the steakhouse.

Voted for FF, but haven't been to Yachtsman yet(going in Nov). The best steak I've had so far at WDW has been at FF. EVERYTHING at FF is excellent, the calamari is the best I've had anywhere and the potato wrapped snapper is to die for.

I didn't vote, since I haven't eaten at Yachtsman, yet, but I do love Flying Fish, especially the red snapper entree with leek fondue.

my vote is flying fish. we really like both, but the food at flying fish is just amazing...try the white chocolate-strawberry cosmo for desert - one of the best deserts dh and i have had at WDW, maybe anywhere!

I ate at both this past May and much preferred the Flying Fish. Maybe because we have much better steakhouses here in Texas, I just wasn't impressed with the Yatchsman Steakhouse. In fact, the steaks I had at Le Cellier, California Grill, and Narcoosee were better than the one I had at the Yatchsman.

It wasn't a choice on your poll, but by far the best steak I had all week was the steak that came with the lobster at Narcoosee. Everything there was wonderful, in fact.

Thank you all for your comments! Wow, looks like Flying Fish is winning here. aubriee, we already have an ADR for Narcoosee's this trip! We can't wait!
