Yachtsman & LeCellier - Pass the Catsup please!

Okay, I'll be the first to admit, I don't have very sophisticated tastes..but I love my steak. Problem is, steak to me isn't good, unless I have my catsup!! Will it be frowned upon if I ask for catsup at the more upperscale restaurants like Yachtsman or LeCellier?

Absolutely NOT. The Yatchsmen, and other high scale resturants like Victoria and Alberts have excellent service and the customer is always right. You ask for ketchup and you will get it. You're paying top dollar right? You get what you want!

I know they have ketchup at LeCellier because my DS needed it for his hot dog. If you are paying and that is what you enjoy you should have your ketchup

If you want maple syrup on your steak, your server will gladly provide it with a smile.

I'm not making this up - I saw it happen with my own eyes at Le Cellier. I'm sure it made for some interesting conversations in the kitchen, however.
