Yachtsman for surprise 50th?!!

We are surprising my brother in law and flying he and my sister to Disney with us for his 50th birthday. We will be eating at the yachtsman and was wondering if anyone knows the resturant well enough to tell us if there is a special dining area that is more private than another? We would like to request in advance to make sure everything is taken care of before we go down... so if anyone knows it would be helpful.... Please also tell me any ideas to make the night special that you've heard of or done?

OK most areas are pretty secluded (theyve designed the resturant well for this actually) compared to other Disney resturants

Have you let the resturant know it is a special occassion? I've known them in the past to give out personalised menus for birthdays or to give out a small cake. Not sure how recently either of these were though.

i had my 10yr annv there & i special ordered a cake(&paid for thru the cake hotline) & they surprised me with a personalized menu
