Yachtmans Steakhouse or Captain's Grille...

Anyone have any preference or describe the difference please?? Just looking for some ideas of dinner plans. TIA

YSH is a signature restaurant, more upscale dining. The tables will have white tableclothes, the servers will be wearing white shirts with bow ties. They have a menu of aged cuts of meat, a decent wine list. Sides are ala carte. Service will be paced accordingly.

Captains Grill is a casual dining place. It will be similar in atmosphere, food and service to a chain restaurant like Red Robin, Appleby's etc.

Yachtsman Steakhouse for sure!

First off, the prices are much different. Yachtsman is much more expensive. If you take that out of the equation then it really is no brainer.

Captain't Grille is sterile and to me feels like any restaurant you would go to in your home town. Yachtsman is upscale and classy and IMHO has the best food, especially steak, on property.

If money is no object then do the Yachtsman for sure.

yikes! my favorite 1 TS and favorite 2 TS up against each other?? hmmm. this is giving me anxiety trying to choose!

very tough. yachtsman is definately more of an experience and has more steak offerings. very much upscale... however captain's grille is more relaxed and has more seafood.

i love them both soooooooo much. check the menus and see what you would rather try!!

You really can't compare these two restaurants. Although they are very near each other in the Yacht Club, one (Captain's Grill) is a place to eat, while the other (YSH) is a place to Dine. If price isn't a factor then Yachtsman is the better choice.

Agree with everyone else--YSH is much the better restaurant.
