My family is going to take our first trip to Disneyworld in July. We have dinner reservations one night at Artist Point at the WL and we are staying at the Yachtclub. I just read that by 9:30 the return time on Soarin FPs was between 4-5 pm. So, I was thinking that we would
have our day in Epcot
get FPs for Soarin
go back to the Yachtclub (via the International Gateway) for an afternoon break
head back to Epcot (via the International Gateway) for our FP window
Ride Soarin
walk to the front of Epcot
take the monorail from Epcot to the TTC and
catch the ferry to the WL
I have a DD6 and a DS4 and I think they would enjoy taking the boat to the WL.
Is this possible? Is this a ridiculous waste of time?
Thanks in Advance for any help you can give,
Meredith

Hi Meredith. To take the boat to WL when you arrive at the TTC you'll have to get off the Epcot monorail and get on the Magic Kingdom monorail and either get off at the MK and take the boat from there to WL, or get off at the Comtemporary and take the boat from there to WL.

Have fun and you'll love the Yacht Club.

i think there are current stresses going on at soarin that won't last. a 4-5 pm return time at 9:30 am is not typical, at least not in my experience. is this your 2nd soarin ride for the day? depending on when you go, I don't think you need to necessarily plan that far out.

personally, it seems like a lot of walking for me, to go from YC to EP (unless you plan on kiling more time by boating it), then all the way through the park just for soarin. personally, i'd just assume walk or boat to MGM and get the WL bus there.

you'll miss the ferry, but hopefully there will be times for that. plus, hopefully someone can clarify with specifics, but the ferry does share with FW and I believe changes routes mid-day to benefit WL guests. so if you end up going too early, the boat will go from MK to FW to WL, which will add a subsantial period of time to your travel.

of course, it also helps to know what time your ADR is. if it's late enough, the boat route will probably be in your favor and run about 30-40 mins or so?
