Could anyone recommend a room location to request? We will be staying in a standard view room. We would like to be near the quiet pool and laundry. Thanks!

I have a map of the YC that shows room numbers and everything. I cannot remember which website I got it off of but if you PM or email me your email address I can send them to you.

Hi - I notice there are 6 of you - do you have 2 rooms? I don't think 6 people can fit in a standard room at the YC.

the rooms over looking the quiet pool are considered water view rooms.
i'd recommend requesting a room nwith a view of the wedding gazebo, you'll be near the the quiet pool in that location.

Did you say near laundry?..... let me remind you - this is vacation!!!!!!!!!!:)

Laura :)

Yes, we do have two rooms, I requested connecting...hopefully we will get it. It would be nice to acutally sleep in the same bed (in a room alone) as my husband! <grin>

Laura-
Thanks for the tip, that sounds like a great location. We stayed at the BC last year and were on the ground floor at the very end of the resort, right by the quiet pool and just steps from EPCOT. It was the perfect location! I am getting kind of worried that the YC will not be as convenient as that. I haven't stayed at the YC before but DH was there in Jan for a convention and he liked it better than the BC, so we are staying there.

As far as laundry is concerned...I would have to load a semi with a weeks worth of clothes for 4 girls and me, so laundry is a grim reality. Funnily enough, laundry never seems that bad when I'm doing it in WDW!!!
;) ;)

Not that this has anything to do with your post, but I just wanted to say congrats on your family of four daughters! I am the oldest of a family of four daughters, so I can totally relate to your laundry situation!

I love my memories of growing up with my three sisters.... your post reminded me how much fun we used to have. My poor Dad was soooo outnumbered - even the dog was a female!

( I'm married, to a man who is the oldest of a family of four sons, and we now have four children of our own - 2 boys and 2 girls!)

mis4mouse-

Thanks for your post! I think it is great having 4 wonderful DD's!! I hope they will have great memories of their childhood when they grow up--especially those trips to WDW!

I was laughing about the dog tho', we had two cats (both female) and then we got the girls a Golden Retreiver puppy for Xmas and there was NO WAY it was going to be a girl! My husband chose him and gave him the "manly man" name of MacGyver!

Have fun in Disney!

we had rooms, 1089, 1087 and 1085. 1085 and 1087 were connecting. This is on the first floor with a view of the courtyard that has the gazebo, 3 weddings took place at the gazebo when we were there. There is a hallway just a short distance from these rooms that leads to the quiet pool. There is a laundry room a short distance down to the end of the hall one this floor as well as a larger laundry facility at the quiet pool. Just beyond the laundry is an exit that goes directly onto the boardwalk. We really enjoyed this location.

Hope this helps,

Bob

BTW all these rooms had 2 queens and I know 1089 and 1085 had daybeds, don't recall of 1087 had one though but I'll find out..

Thanks everyone! PhotoBob, that sounds like a perfect location, I will request it!!

I think you'll enjoy those rooms we really did. BTW i see you live in Baskin Ridge. MY SIL lived near there for about six years. they lived in a small town, Schooley's Mtn. Spent a couple of weeks up there in the summer of 96, my first trip up north. Jersey is a beautiful state..

Thanks again Photobob,

Yes, it is quite pretty in the area of NJ where we live. I would much prefer to have a florida address tho!!
