Yacht Club Vs. POR

Just looking for some opinions:

We are taking a quick, weekend trip for the Food & Wine Festival in three weeks. Right now we are booked at POR--were trying to keep expenses down.

HOWEVER, we have always stayed at the Yacht club and are wondering if we will regret it this time. The price difference is about $600.

BTW, we are two adults, no children and we will have a car.

Any thoughts? Thank you.

I never regret staying at POR but I just love the place. As you've stayed in YC before and are attending the F&W Fest. would you prefer walking back to your hotel or walking to the front of the park, catching a bus and then walking back to your room? After reading that question, what was your true reply? There is your answer.

I think that you'll go with YC this time. It's easy to come to and from the wine festival. Hope that you can find a room there at this point. You can always save by staying at POR on your next trip when F&W isn't at Epcot.

If you can afford it, I'd go withthe YC and save POR for your next trip. I think that you might regret not having the convenience of being so close to Epcot for F&W. Even though your car will be with you, iit would be less than a 10 min walk and you will walk right in to the World Showcase. Plus, if you are planning on enjoying some wine, you wouldn't have to worry about driving yourselves back to your resort at the end of the day.
