We will be staying at the Boardwalk Villas this January so I was looking at restaurants in the area and I came across this one. I've never heard of it. Is it any good? The menu on allearsnet looks decent. Is an ADR necessary here? I am just all out of ideas for out of park restaurants and wondering if this would be a good option!

We ate there last year and the restaurant was fairly empty about 6:30. It was during the free dining period, too...so I assume you wouldn't normally need ADR's there.

I thought it was pretty good...I just got a burger and fries. DH got a seafood pasta that was super fishy and not very good.

I would go again, and I think DH would try it again, just skip the pasta dish this time.

We've eaten there a few times since it's in the hotel we always stay at. The food is good and it's rarely crowded.... a great option if you didn't have ADR's! :)

We've eaten there once and will not be rushing to go back. The food was ok, but you could be in any lobby restaurant in any hotel in the US. There was just nothing special about it.

With so many great choices at WDW, and in the Boardwalk area, I would suggest skipping Yacht Club Galley.

We went there on our last visit - we hadnt heard of it either. We were taking a look around the Boardwalk and thought 'Where will we go for lunch?'
Well, I am very hard to please and the Yacht Club Galley food was fantastic! I had beef and barley broth with a huge shrimp filled croissant. Dd had fish and chips which she said were the best she had ever tasted and DS had crab cakes which he loved! I think the food cost less than $35.
I wish I had gone there a second time instead of going to Beaches and Cream which was a big disappointment.

Welllll...

First off, no, you shouldn't need an ADR.

I've eaten there a half dozen times over the past ten years or so. About 18 months ago I had an absolutely incredible meal there. Unfortunately that particular menu, chef, and management has changed, and not for the better.

It's not bad meal these days, but not one I"m rushing back to.

Okay, well we are looking for a restaurant to eat at the day of the marathon which my husband, sister, and mother will all be running. They will be dead tired and we just want someplace that we won't need an ADR for since we don't know if we'll even make it there. I guess we'll just play it by ear. maybe we'll end up at Beaches and Cream, that wouldn't be bad!
