I kind of saw Mac & Victoria clashing over Reed. I realized the other day when Victoria and Billy were babysitting Faith, I've NEVER seen them spend time with Reed that way. I've really warmed up to Mac over the last few months, so I will be curious to see how this plays out.

According to the show, Michelle Stafford and Joshua Morrow have both requested (and recieved) permission to give themselves a new look for their upcoming story.

MS has a much shorter, blonder hairstyle and JM is getting an ultra short cut. Can't wait to see it!

Nina's firstborn was stolen by Rose (Sally from B&B). She sold babies. Chance was her 2nd teen pregnancy.

As a teenager, Nina got pregnant, ran away from home, and was found on a park bench in Genoa City by Cricket Blair. They became best friends. Nina moved into a home for unwed mothers run by Rose DeVille, who, unbeknownst to Nina, headed a black-market baby ring. Just before her son was born, Nina had a change of heart about the adoption. So Rose abandoned Nina on the delivery table, and kidnapped her new son. Cricket and Nina were unsuccessful in locating Rose or Nina's baby.

Cricket and Nina became roommates, and Cricket and Danny worked with her to polish her rough edges. Then Nina set her sights on Cricket's boyfriend, Phillip Chancellor III, heir to the Chancellor fortune. Nina got Phillip drunk, seduced him, and ended up pregnant. Phillip's mother, Jill, and Katherine Chancellor, disapproving of Nina, tried but failed to buy her off. Nina had a son, Phillip IV, and she and Phillip married. Jill and Kay set Nina up by hiring handsome Jabot employee, Chase Benson, to seduce Nina and prove her an unfit mother. Their plan backfired. But Phillip's drinking problem soon led to his death when his sports car slammed into a tree.

•Malcolm's fiance arrives in Genoa City, she works for Tucker and immediately clashes w/ Neil and Katherine (I don't think they know she's Malcolm's fiance)
•Phyllis tries to warn Daniel about Abby but its of no use, he likes Abby. Phyllis tells Daniel she's decided to go back to work, she wants to go work for Jabot!
•Ashley and Tucker confront Victor about the bribes, but admit they have no proof yet. Victor reminds Ashley of what Tucker did to his own mother
•Abby tells Jack she's reluctantly thinking of selling Brad's home for money but Jack tells her to use her stock she inherited from Brad as well as Victor for power!!

Next - Nick goes to Adam's hotel room (looks like another confrontation is happening here); Victoria tells Victor if he doesn't like how she does business, find someone else to do his dirty work; Abby confronts Victor about her stocks in Newman

You can get email alerts IF you want to...

When you are posting, before you hit 'post', there are 'additional options' at the very bottom. You can choose, not to subscribe, to subscribe instantly, daily or weekly. Then click 'post'.

I actually do NOT like getting an email alert to every post I've posted on so I shut it off in 'my options'. This way, I am subscribed BUT I don't get email alerts and I just look at my User CP all the time in all my subscribed threads to see if there are any new posts worth reading. Now, if there is a reason I really want to know then I can turn on the email alert for just that one thread if I want to.

Also, many do not know but you can subsribe to a thread without having to post to it. That is at the top of the page under "Thread Tools" and then click 'subscribe to this thread'. Easypeasy.

Eric Roberts joins the cast of The Young and the Restless this week, but don't call it stunt casting. For Roberts, this is more about returning to his roots -- even if it did take more than 30 years to do so. The versatile actor got his start in daytime in the 1970s when he appeared on Another World.


Roberts will take on the role of ruthless attorney Vance Abrams. Vance is the lawyer hired to represent Adam Wilson, a man who not only escaped from prison, but also faked his own death. According to story previews, Vance will have his work cut out for him.


"He's certainly a guy to be reckoned with -- a badass high-powered attorney who's famous in the legal world -- but he is not a villain," Roberts said to TV Guide when asked to describe his character.


In 1977, Roberts joined the cast of Another World in the role of Ted Bancroft. Roberts would remain with the show for just four months. Though Roberts got his start in daytime, he is known to a wider audience for his film and primetime television work.


Roberts received Golden Globe nominations for his early starring roles in King of the Gypsies and Star 80. In 1985, he received an Academy Award nomination in the Best Supporting Actor category for his role as escaped convict, Buck, in the film Runaway Train.


More recently, Roberts appeared on NBC's Heroes, playing Eric Thompson, Sr.


Next month, Roberts will appear on the silver screen with Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis, and Jason Statham when the film The Expendables hits theatres. The movie is about a band of mercenaries who attempt to overthrow a Latin American dictator. The actor also reportedly has at least six other film projects in various stages of production.


Meanwhile, Roberts' run on The Young and the Restless will last about a month. The actor makes his debut on July 23, and he'll air through August.
