Ever since Thom Bierdz returned to Y&R earlier this year, his character hasn't been in any front-burner storylines and fans have been worried that Phillip might be written out. In response to these concerns, Bierdz recently posted this message on Y&R's CBS.com message board: "I know I am on eight episodes in November, and then the truth is, I sort of disappear. My six month contract is up. I really want to support the gay community, and I want the gay community to support me. I would like the gay community to write to CBS and say, 'We want a gay character on the air.'"
This week, Phillip shocks everyone by announcing that he wants to move back to Australia. "Cane is still a marked man because of the cattle rustlers he helped send to jail," explains Bierdz. "They're still mad, but Phillip is worried that if they ever find out where he is, they'll also find out where Cane is."
Phillip assumes that returning to Australia will help cover Cane's tracks, but moving away means he would have to leave his family in the dust yet again. "He wants to protect Cane," explains Bierdz. "Phillip does have a life in Australia and he's connected to a lot of people there. He feels he might be able to use that to defuse a volatile situation."
When Cane gets word of Phillip's plan, he wants to go with him, but Phillip refuses to let him tag along. "Cane has Lily to take care of," says Bierdz. "Plus, Phillip feels he owes Cane because Cane was there for Phillip's family when he couldn't be."
Phillip tells Cane that he doesn't want his family to his the real reason he's skipping town. "Phillip doesn't want Kay, Jill or Nina blaming Cane for this," explains Bierdz. "Things aren't quite smoothed over between them, so Phillip doesn't want to cause any more friction there. He'd rather just look like the bad guy."
When Phillip tells Nina about his travel plans, she isn't happy. "She lashes out at him about running away again," says Bierdz. "Nina can't keep things inside, so of course, she has to run off and tell someone else. But will they be able to stop Phillip?"
Does this mean that we've seen the last of Thom Bierdz on Y&R for good? "I can't say anything more about that," he answers cryptically.

Jack turns to Nick to regain control of Jabot!
This week, Jack's quest to gain more control of Jabot through Chancellor Industries (its parent company) leads him straight Nick Newman.
"It's clear Jack is not going to get in on this IPO -- initial public offering -- that Chancellor is opening up," explains Peter Bergman. "He tries everything he can. He tries to get Ashley involved. He talks to Neil and Katherine about it," but they all say it isn't going to happen.
The reason Jack wants to buy up the stock is simple. "It would mean he'd be sitting on the board at Chancellor and having considerably more control over what happens at Jabot," explains Bergman. "Obviously, Jack already owns a large share of Jabot, but Katherine owns controlling interest. If Jack [could get more stock], he'd have a real say as to what goes on at Jabot."
Katherine, however, is determined to keep this from happening. She knows exactly what Jack's plan is and she doesn't want his agenda on the board because she knows he has a history of running roughshod and taking things over.
Jack refuses to be deterred, so he goes to Nick with a deal: He'll put up the money to buy Chancellor stock if Nick buys it posing as Newman Enterprises. "Jack is totally up-front with Nick," explains Bergman. "He basically says, 'You have no downside here. You rep me. You rep my interests, go in, and buy the stock. I give you the money. If it goes south, if Jabot tanks, I lose the money. You don't lose anything. You'll get the tax advantages of having a loss.'"
Jack makes the proposition even harder to resist when he appeals to Nick's sense of family. Jack tells Nick that they were both born to run their family's companies. "It's in their genes. He tells Nick, 'You know what I'm feeling and I'm asking for your help.' Things can work out great," Bergman insists. "Jack has a real shot at regaining control of Jabot. His ultimate plan is not nefarious. It's not dark. It's just to regain control of a company his father built. It's a great wrong that Jack has to right."

Good lord..not the Jack is going to buy up all the stock to regain control again story line....seems this soap just goes around and around with the same stories...and why is Paul who is such a nice guy always single. Everyone always leaves him for someone else.

I thought I saw something with Neil and Jill the other day. She sorta had some sort of googly eyes at him.
I am thinking Deacon and Phyllis in the future. The scene from yesterday seemed pretty intense.

Jill has been around the block several times. I noticed that look in her eyes the other day with Kneel (that's how I spell Neil's name
) I was telling my sister the other day, I noticed a spark with Kneel and Ashley too.
As far as Phyllis and Deacon goes. I'm all for it! Deacon brought out a spark in BigRed I havent seen in YEARS!!!!!
That was the Phyllis I have hated for so long!

•Phyllis seeks Jack's help in convincing Daniel not to marry Amber. Phyllis starts talking about everything Amber has done, Jack notices Amber was like Phyllis but Phyllis says they are nothing alike.
•Billy and Mac fight about her being a surrogate. Mac realizes her and Billy have become different people
•Paul and Patty take a walk down memory lane while Jack opens upto Emily about his past
•Katherine, Murphy, Lauren, Kevin and Jana help Amber and Daniel prepare for their wedding. When Phyllis learns about it, she interrupts the wedding trying to get Daniel to reconsider but she has no luck. Daniel and Amber do marry, but someone other than Phyllis is not happy about it (we don't see who)
Next - Emily tells Mac she may not be a good candidate to be a surrogate; Ryder wants Eden to give him the inside scoop on the Baldwin/Fisher clan; Lauren and now Michael are at the wedding when Lauren gets a package she opens it and her and Michael scream!

ok - call me crazy - tell me im insane - that i've flipped my lid but..............................
I think it will turn out that Emily will actually be Patty and that when all is said and done Patty got help, became sane, got her degree in psychology and found "MJ/Patty" feed her all this information and made her believe that she was the real Patty leaving Emily/Patty the chance to get even with Jack in a way he would never expect.

Mac tells Cane & Lily she & Billy broke up.
- Billy drinks, broods and has flashbacks to happier times with Mac.
- Billy turns to Jack for comfort .. but, Jack wants "no part of his messes".
- Billy visits Lily, tells her he broke up with Mack & Lily tells him she hopes they'll get past their differences & find their way back to each other.
- When Emily gives Mac her psychiatric evaluation .. Mac tells her about her recent break up with Billy, her past miscarriage & that she'd feel guility if she lost Lily's baby too.
- Emily tells Mac she may not be a good candidate for surrogacy .. she may have attachment issues, resent the loss of her relationship with Billy & if Lily doesn't live, she may latch on to the baby.
- Emily leaves .. & .. just as Mac pauses to reflect on what Emily has said, Cane arrives and tells her how happy he & Lily are about the surrogacy.
- Chance has been released from the hospital.
- Chloe & Chance play cards & cuddle up on the bed.
- Later, Billy walks in & Chance tells him to get out.
- When Paul is looking for Emily he bumps into Jack .. tells him Patty is recalling some of her memories & has made threats about Jack again.
- Paul puts a "good word" in for Jack when he meets up with Emily.
- Ryder asks Eden for the inside scoop on the Baldwin/Fisher clan .. but Eden won't dish with him.
- Nick shows up at the wedding celebrations .. Phyllis had sent him a text saying: "On Daniel's roof - may jump."
- When Daniel & Amber leave to get more wine .. Lauren opens a wedding gift addressed to her .. it contains a live, black mouse/rat.
- The wedding guests don't want to spoil the evening .. so, they decide to keep the "news" about the startling mystery gift a secret from Daniel & Amber.
- Later, at Crimson Lights .. Lauren suspects Ryder sent the gift.
- Katherine offers Kevin a job at Chancellor Industries.
- Phyllis sees Jack & Emily having a drink at the GCAC and flips out.
- Emily accepts Jack's invitation to dinner.

I've actually thought that since Emily first came into play. She has the perfect "tools" and training to pull it off.

The rumor circulating in the famous hollywood diner where all the waiters have excellent listening ears is that Ryder's mother is Christine Blair!

Christine was attacked by Tom Fisher when she was fourteen years old and went off and had Ryder that summer.
Late in life Ryder found Christine and now she is out to get revenge on Micheal Baldwin for raping her and destroying her marriage to Paul Williams by having Isabella come between them.
Christine also wants to deliver some pay back to Phyllis for ruining her marriage to Danny and running over Paul with her car! Lauren gets into the mix because Cricket always hated Lauren all her life and as a way to get back at Micheal... not to mention the way she treated Tracy. Now does Nina become an ally to Cricket her old friend? Maybe... once Christine fills Nina in on how Phyllis drove her car into Paul.
