Y&R take 3 - SPOILERS inside

Just found this thread. Oh my, I haven't watched this show in years but reading the characters' names brings back good memories. Always thought it was the best soap on daytime!

Forgive me if this was asked as I haven't read through all the posts -- but I remember reading last year that Eric Braeden was of the show because Y&R would not meet his contract requests. Is he back and if so, what happened? Thanks.

While I am new here I hope you all don't mind me jumping in with the answer. So, Eric Braeden obviously settle his contract dispute. The story line goes that Colleen (Tracey and Brad's daughter) died and her heart was transplanted into Victor (who needed a new heart). Then he went off to a special hopsital in Europe to rehab. That is where he and Nicki went for those few weeks when they were off air. Victor returned good as new but not any softer or nicer than before.

Wow-it has been a few years since you last watched. So much has transpired since then but I will do my best to update you.

Victor and Nicki are not presently married. He divorced her and married a woman (who was Victoria age and friend) name Sabrina but she died in a car accident along with their unborn child. He also then married Ashley Abbott. They got pregnant and the baby died in a miscarriage due to Victor's long lost son Victor jr. (also known as Adam). Then he and Nicky got back together. They are trying to get married again but people stand in their way (Meggie and Deacon Sharp formerly of Bold and Beautiful) as they are trying to get her to drink again.

Nick and Sharon divorced after Cassie's death. Sharon briedly got involved with Brad (before he died ), then married and divorced Jack Abbott, and then married Adam aka Victor Jr. Right now the story line seems to be putting Sharon and Nick back together.

Nick went on to marry and have a child with Phyllis but he also slept with Sharon. Sharon got pregnant and gave birth to their daughter Hope. Nick and Phyllis just broke up. Phyllis is now dating Jack Abbott again.

That is the simplest way to explain so much that has happened. There is the whole Adam/Vic Jr. story line that has so many ins and outs that I don't know how to write it all down but it plays a key role in the whole thing.

Redsox68-Cassie was actually not Nick's daughter but he thought of her as his. Sharon had her in high school and gave her away for a while and then got her back. Cassie died due to Daniel Romaloti (sp). She had a crush on him and they were at a high school beer party. He want to drive while drunk but she would not let him. She drove, even though she didn't have a license and then got in an accident and died. Phyllis isn't so much older than Nick. The age difference was never brought up. Kay is still alive. Actually her new husband (Murphy) is actually in the hospital at the moment.

Found the answer to my own question-Yes she is! The actress is Yvette Freeman. She played nurse Haleh on ER all 6 seasons.

* It is revealed that Meggie used to be married to Murphy's son, she warns Murphy not to tell anyone anything
* Ronan and Heather continue to fight, he reminds her that he suffered a loss too, has to live with what he did
* Nikki comes to see Deacon, she immediately starts to drink while Deacon fakes his drinking (he's drinking water)
* Victoria learns about JT from Mac, she asks Nikki to pick up Reed but Nikki pretends the connection is bad
* Nina asks Ronan to contact Chance, let him know everyone is safe before Chance tries to contact them
* Victoria visits JT, its the first conversation they have without fighting. Victoria tells JT he is going to make it through this
* Meggie returns to the ranch, she hears Victor coming and fakes injuring herself while cleaning debris from the storm
* Nikki is a wreck, she doesn't know what is happening to her. Deacon tries to kiss her, she runs out on him
* Billy is next to visit JT, JT is worried about Reed and asks if he doesn't make it that Billy take good care of him
* Victoria finds out Nikki lied about where she was going when she left the hospital, she gets suspicious
* Meggie overhears Nikki and Victor planning to elope soon, she tells Deacon that they don't have much time left

Next - Looks like Sharon was going to see Adam but hides when she sees Nick arguing with Adam; Phyllis talking to Diane about Diane's decision to stay in Genoa's City; Nikki asks Meggie why she has a problem with Nikki and Victor's elopement plans

Hello all, I hope it is ok to jump in this thread. I joined this forum because of my love of all things Disney(and DH and I wanted to take a great vacation) but then to find a Y&R thread is almost more than my heart can stand

I have been watching Y&R since my highschool days in the 1980's. I watch it religiously every day. Can't wait until today's episode when we see the after math of the tornado ripping through GC!

Also, I know that I am new here but I wanted to send out pixie dust to all of the Mommies and their babies who are not feeling well last week! Hope everyone will start to feel better.

We're bored with JT and glad he's going

We can't stand Mac's acting - it's garbage

We used to hate Chole but we like her now

Some like Adam some don't but it's pretty much agreed that he's GREAT eye candy

We're totally over all the weak women how can't breath without controling men (ie Nikki, Ashley, Nikki, Ashley, Nikki and...... oh I forgot Ashley.

Most think Sharon is a winny twit
