Well, DCA has launched it's Xtreme Sports thing at DCA from July 1st until sometime in August.
Basically, it consists of really bad music blasting all over the park and a couple of venues where you can watch kids play on skateboards. (You can't see kid's playing on skateboards in your own neighborhood...Thank you Disney!)
Oh, there is one kind of neat thing, they are giving you a "scratcher" ticket when you enter DCA. You can win cars, ATV's and, you guessed it, skateboards. We had to ask our ticket taker for one though and she pulled it out of her pocket like she only had a few. She didn't give tickets to the group in front of us. You might have to ask for them if you want them.
Anyway, that's what's up over at the steps of the library, oops, I mean DCA!
