Xmas - when do the parks quieten down?

We will be in Disney from 23rd Dec - Jan 5th - trying to work out an itineary - when will it quieten down?

Unfortunately, it will take until the last few days of your trip before crowds thin out.

We were there last year on 1/2 and 1/3 and I would say it was very crowded both days. We were only in Magic kingdom though.

Lots of schools won't go back until Jan 4 or 5, so you might have busy days for your entire stay. The marathon weekend starts on Thursday, races start on Fri and go through Sun, Jan 7. So after Jan 7, it should be quieter at WDW.
