Xmas tree ideas?

If you really want to be original, how about creating an upside down tree? I bet you won't that at the christmas tree show.

I like the idea about making cinnamon dough and cutting theminto gingerbread characters. Have the girls then decorate them with paint into 'brownies'.

I was even thinking if you made the cinnamon dough and put in some food coloring gel, Wiltons brand. It would make it brown. Then cute them into squares, even decorate them.

I didn't think of the mini baking sets at Dollar store...will look for those!


There are now HUNDREDS of badges for the girls to earn and frankly, my first graders don't really get the whole "badge" thing yet.

I do like the idea of the molds in plastic bags...how do you melt buttons???

Sorry, should have said chocolate buttons. We melted ours over a pan of hot water.
