Xmas Parade Taping?

Does anyone know when the Christmas Parade is taped? How does that work? I actually do not want to be in MK when they do that...DD is autistic & the last thing we need is huge crowds during our off-season trip. Any info would be so helpful!

BTW, we will be there 12/3-12/9.

Historically, the first weekend in Dec, Friday and Saturday, sometimes Sunday. It is all disjointed, segmented, not like the real parade Sometimes with and without music. Retakes, etc. I make sure to steer clear of MK on those days.

Whew...we arrive on 12/3 which is a Sunday, and we leave the following Friday, so we should be OK. Thanks for the info!

We were at Disney last year from 11/29 thru 12/5. They definately taped show on Sat. and Sun. I have to say we were there on Sat late afternoon and I didn't think it was that bad. The year before we were there same time frame all day Sat. and again unless you are right near the castle in that circle area I don't think it was horriable. We stayed in Adventureland, Frontierland, Fantasyland and we tend not to walk back to Main street until we are leaving. Hope this helps.
