I suddenly a being dragged to family Xmas gathering so need to get gifts for Nieces and Nephews. I am thinking getting girls 16 and 17 make up of some sort. Boys I'm at lost one is 20, others are 12 and 7 I believe. Their parents are useless in help dept.

hat gives me idea. I can always get 20 yo a gas card

My 12 year old nephew is really into sports/athletic hoodies and sports stuff for his room.

I have three teens and a lot of teen nieces and nephews. Some things I have gotten the guys are travel bags with men's fragrance. Just bought a couple at American Eagle the other day.

Fleece PJ pants
Fuzzy or super warm socks
Favorite food items...my son loves Slim Jims so he always gets a big box of them.
Gas cards if they are driving
Emergency Kit for their car if they have one
Big Comfy Lounging Pillows...nieces and nephews loved these one year.
Team Sweatshirts...if they are college fans I know Finish Line usually has these on sale around this time of year. Can pick their favorite team.
Heated Throws
Fun game if they like games...Cards against Humanity was big one year
Big tin of popcorn
Tracker locators...on Amazon. Great to find lost keys, etc..

I've given my nephew(15) a bag of 'fun' foods that he likes, like different jerkies, candy, chips, etc.

I usually get my 18 year old niece fluffy socks, a scarf, or a hoody or a small Sephora gift card if I get all small stuff. I like to give actual gifts only because it keeps the cost down. If I get them all gift cards it gets expensive . This year is her first year at college so I'm making her a basket. I'm going to put snacks, toothpaste, hair ties, dunkin card etc. For the nephews I used to get great deals on a tee or hoodie at Aeropostle but now with them closing I'm not sure where I will go. Maybe Old Navy? I saw someone mentioned hats I thought this was a cute idea:

Guy around 20 could enjoy so many things. If you knew he like cars maybe car magazine. Or sports magazine. Gas card is a good idea. They also like food. Maybe pizza gc.

never thought of food card for him but that's good idea

I will probably just give my nephews age 16 and 19 cash this year. My mother/their grandmother is terminally ill and family efforts are focused on that so it's just easier - plus it's what they really want but are too polite to say so.

For the boys - I'd suggest anything nerf. Even my 21 year old son still likes Nerf.

For the girls - maybe one of the new Wreck this journals? My 17 year old requested a new one this year.

I took advantage of Bath & Body Works sale for my nieces (buy 3 get 3 free) and put together sets of lotion, body wash and fragrance spray.

I have a 23 y.o. boy and some of the things he likes are gift cards for movies or restaurants, ear buds, event tickets, hoodies, gift card to the mall

for those that give gift cards to teens 13-15 year olds and and 18 year old how much do you give? BIL, his wife and three teens are the hardest to buy for.

The other 4 nieces and nephews and SIL's and BIL's are easier to budget and buy for

We give $20/$25 gift cards. This is the average gift amount for giving/receiving for the cousins in our family. Sometimes I'll include a box of movie candy or bag of beef jerky or fun socks depending on the recipient so that I have something to wrap/they have something to open. For us, this is a nice gift without being cheap and without going overboard.

My kids are 14 to 22 and appreciate cards and cash.

Some cut off at age 18 or college, but I feel that these ages need the gifts even more as life is expensive at this age and a little something extra is always a nice surprise.

I am excited to give my 23 year old niece a Christmas gift of cute nursing motif compression socks with a $20 bill tucked inside as she will graduate with her BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) a few days after her birthday and right before Christmas. Very proud of her and I know she can really use the $$ to pay off loans and get started with her career (she already has a job when she graduates).

For 20 and 12 year old boys a nice set of headphones (I don't mean something like Beats, just like a nice $20 pair of skull candy) is always a welcome gift. For 7 legos or maybe Pokémon cards? The Pokémon cards are nice because they come in a ton of different types of packs at any price point.

I budget $75 for each of my two nephews. But we all just spend what we can afford - if that is $10 in your case, then that's what you can do. Thankfully my family doesn't play the "you spent x dollars on my kid so I have to spend x dollars total on your kids" game.

Cash is king!! My DD19 would prefer cash. It can be spent anywhere. Gift cards are good if you know where they like to shop. Also, it seems like a lot of times they leave a few dollars on the gift card, then never use it. So, its wasted money.

I have Christmas Eve at my house every year and I have a small gift for each child that comes. The young ones are easy, a book, I got some small boxes of Legos from Amazon this year($11 each), Barbies that are on sale, that sort of thing. For anyone who is over the 13 mark, they get a movie pass. Each child also gets a bag of candy to go with the gift/movie pass.
I find they like the movie passes and its perfect for their age group. Doesn't break the bank and I can use any extras I have for myself. Win Win!
