xmas decorations

We are planning a trip from Nov 15-22.....I know the xmas party will be happening, but will the resorts be decorated then? We are staying at VWL.....

Hi - the decorations will definitely have a good start on being up at that time, but may not be completely finished. I don't think everything is in full effect until just before/after Thanksgiving, you'll certainly see may of the decorations while you're there....have a wonderful time! We'll be there the first week of November, so I'm not holding out expectations of really seeing any Xmas decorations then, but I get to enjoy Food & Wine so that makes up for it!

The Christmas decorations should be up in some of the resorts. Usually the GF has the gingerbread house. Since the Christmas party is going on at the MK they will have that totally decorated. However the bad news is that they are not starting the Osbourne lights until after thanksgiving this year. Epcot should have the decorations up but it probably won't be lit up yet. We usually go this week and in the past it has been awesome with very low crowds and all the decorations, but this year they are scaling back on the Osbourne lights which is a real dissappointment, since this is awesome to see.

we are staying at VWL.....and I have heard they have great decorations so I dont want to miss out on them, since I dont know when or if I will be back at Disney during the xmas season....
