I have managed to talk DD out of drums :cool1::cool1:

Have given her ideas of game console for her room.

Been looking and see there is xbox 360 released on fri, What is the difference between the one that's out now and the new one?

New one has built in WI-FI N and a much larger hard drive (250 GB now vs 120 GB)
It also has a built in port for the new Kinect device.

Thanks :thumbsup2
Now trying to work what would be best we already have a wii in the living room. So either PS3 or xbox.:)

The Hardrive capacity doesnt matter that much, unless your wanting to store music/movies etc, but if your using it for games 120 is more than enough!

The built in WIFI is a good addition, as the wireless router is about £50 or was when i bought mine. It depends on the financial difference for you really.

Thanks :thumbsup2

Don't forget the ps3 is also a Blu-Ray player :)
Obviously I'm biased towards the PlayStation as it's what I have, but either would be a good choice :)

On a sidenote, Red Dead Redemption (available on both) is easily the best game I've played for a loooooooong time :)

WE have all three systems... and to be honest, can't really tell the difference.

The Xbox does charge for online play, and PS3 doesn't (although they have a pretty useless PSNPlus service for £50 a year.)

There are very few exclusives on either these days so to be honest, it doen't really matter.

I have all 3 consoles as well (Wii, 360, PS3), not to mention a DS and PSP as well!

As a girl (although I am 22), I prefer the PS3. I just feel there's more games for me on the PS3 than the 360, but I guess it depends on what your DD likes playing. Also silly little things like I prefer a PS3 controller to the chunky 360 controller, I also use mine as a blu-ray and DVD player as well.

Yeah you're right there, each console has it's few good exclusives (Uncharted for ps3, Gears of War for 360 etc) but most of your big games are multiformat :)
