One of the parents at the school I work for decided to donate the premium system along with a few games to our annual auction. She told me this morning that she was in line at Gamestop at midnight and was able to get one. When she walked out of the store, a man walked up to her and offered her $1K in cash for it. Obviously, she declined. People are really excited about this system. I'm just glad we didn't have to wait in line for ours. For those of you who got lucky, our XBOX Live account is: Kanownik. Look for us!
On a side note, I just don't see the point over arguing over which system is better. Everyone has a different perspective. I have been a Nintendo girl for almost 20 years. I never had any other systems growing up. My husband had to use his best persuasion skills on me to get me to agree to get a PS2 a few years ago. We bought one and I love it. Up until Saturday, we had no experience with XBOX. I was a little skeptical about the 360, but I decided to get one anyway for DH as he is graduating from University in Dec because I figured he would enjoy it. Luckily, we were fortunate enough to win one. We have Kameo, Perfect Dark Zero and Need for Speed: Most Wanted and I have to say that I am thoroughly impressed. I already love it as much as my other systems. I am equally excited for and enthusiastic about the PS3 and the Revolution, but they will not be out for many, many months. My point is this: keep an open mind, you will enjoy life much more. I just feel that if you are not interested in the 360, don't come on this thread and try to ruin everyone else's excitement. It is rude. Thanks and flame away.
