XBox 360 Who is trying to get one?

Mad4Mickey, they're already lined up at Target though, at least I heard that they were here. Circuit City had the shortest lines I saw.

My nephew picked his up from EB World at Midnight! Then he set it up and played a game.He sent me pictures of it via e-mail.Wow,it's really awesome looking too!! I can't wait to call him today to see how he likes playing the new system.

The closest Kmart by us only has four. Game stop some and only selling to people who had reserved back in May. Toysrs first said they had 50 and then said 10. My son went to stand on line at 6:45 pm last night. He is the second one on line. It is cold, windy and it has been rainning non-stop. We brought him and the group waiting coffee, hot chocolate. This morning he asked for dry boots. I hope he will not be disappointed after all this.

Nothing is official yet but the latest news I've heard is a April/May 2006 release date for Japan with a US launch towards the end of 2006, maybe even 2007.

If XBox came out with more games, I'd hop in line. That's been my biggest beef with XBox is the games just aren't as good. Playstation by far has more games and better games. XBox is trying to catch up, but it's just not working. How many new games are out for this new system? Wait a couple of months, when there are more games out before you drop $400

PS2 is fine with me for now.

Dh returned home at 12:30 he was in line from 2pm until 12 and was only able to get the core so off to Sam's we went got in line at 1 am and just home ... We got the premium bundle
So now everyone is happy.. ( we even have one to give to my nephew now so He will be thrilled) ..

Oh it's a happy day in my world. My fiance has been in line since 5 a.m. in the snow and the cold and walked away with voucher #8 of 8 from CompUSA. This means that he can wait somewhere WARM until the store opens at 10 and he can pick up his XBox that is guaranteed to be his. This also means that I don't have to scramble for a new Christmas present for him!! I think it's crazy, but whatever makes him happy.

Well I picked up DS at 12:00 and he got the second of only 2 premium systems. He said he had a guy offer him money to give up his spot in line. I asked him how much and he said he never asked just said no. I suggested that we should sell this system new in the box - might get lots of $$ off of Ebay for it...he was not amused...

Our plan yesterday was to keep checking at Walmart to see when the line would start...My DSis called me at 11:00am yesterday and told me I needed to leave to get in line she said she would join me as soon as she could.

To cut a long (12 hour) story short I got mine...

We all had a great time while waiting in-line.

They even had police located outside to make sure we got to our cars OK.

I'm going to try and hold out until Sony releases the PS3 and Microsoft drops the price of the 360 to drum up sales. Of course if I see one just sitting on a shelf at Best Buy or somewhere, my fiancee's probably going to have to drag me away.

OMG, I went to walmart SUNDAY evening... and there was this LINE! These people had chairs and thermoses, and diskmans, so I asked WHAT they were DOING there? Dude said... "we are waiting on the XBox" I asked when it was coming out... "TOMORROW night at Midnight"!

Being the smart alect I am of course had a hayday with the dudes (there was more than one) waiting in line for MORE than 24 hours for this!

The sad part is if people stopped paying these stupid prices on ebay, there would be more available. I would be willing to bet 6 out of 10 people who bought XBoxes today will post it on ebay. The same thing will happen when PS3 comes out. People will wait in line to get one to sell it to some fool on ebay who will pay $1000 for it. Must be nice to have that much money to throw away!

They did lottery's here at our Walmart's, but they let them put up tents at best buy.

DH decided last night he wanted one... and I wonder why he does not have one today.
