It takes some doing to hook the kinect to this system. You will need to buy extra cables. A word of caution however: These refurbs are the repaired systems that have had overheating issues, the notorious "Red ring of doom". There is a manufacturing flaw that causes the system to overheat and crash. They are basicallly a paperweight after it happens. We have been a victm 3 times. Supposedly they fixed it at one point beforethe slims came out, but even our xbox with the supposed fix crashed afterabout 18 months, just outside the warranty. We hans a slim now, and have had no problems with it as yet. I don't know anyone who has gotten red rings on a slim.It may be worth it to just get a new slim. Also, this is the arcade system. If you want to download content or save games you will need to spend another $70-$100 on a hard drive.
