x-mas decorations at resorts?

Anyone can tell me which disney resorts has the best decorations and activities or services for kids during christmas season? We are going to WDW during 1st week of December for 10 days. Would like to split our stay at 2 resorts. Thinking Dolphin (with govt. discount) would be one good choice but don't know which should be our second resort.

Any help with specifics would be gladly appreciated.

We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge during the X-Mas season. The tree was amazing and the atmosphere added to the whole spirit of Christmas. You should watch the travel channel. There has been a show recently which highlights the different resorts during Christmas. The Grand Floridian has a giant gingerbread house and they explained how long it takes to make, etc. I think you really can't go wrong with any of the resorts.

Wilderness Lodge and Grand Floridian are probably the best. We've stayed at WL during the holidays, and the atmosphere (dark, woodsy interior, fireplace, huge Christmas tree) is just perfect for Christmas. When we were there they had handbells and Christmas carols in the lobby in the evenings.

Grand Floridian is also beautiful. We haven't stayed there but we like to visit when we're there in December. This year they gave out roasted chestnuts at the entrance, and they also have live Christmas music in the lobby. The gingerbread house is cool too!

Thanks for the recommendations. I didn't even think of the Grand Floridian. I wonder if they have AP prices? This is the first time that we invested in annual passes and plan to visit WDW at least twice.

I will keep reading this post hoping for more responses.
