What are your thoughts about Simon Cowells X Factor Show that's going to be startinig up? I think it did great in the UK.. wonder how its going to do here... and i wonder who the other judges are going to be..

I am really looking forward to seeing this. I hope one of the other judges he picks is Cheryl Cole from the girl group Girls Aloud.

I'm just a bit disappointed that Fox is giving it that much time each week. It is going to result in the culling of some scripted dramas to make enough room for it, and perhaps a couple of good ones are going to be cut as a result.

What's the format/time plan Bicker? I'm kind of over Simon having watched him for years with my son on American Idol. This year,although DS has moved on, I'm relieved that Simon is gone and the show is positive and supportive. I think the positive nature of the new Idol judges has allowed the talent to grow faster and be less timid. Could be that they just have better talent this year. I remember Kelly Clarkson being the only talent on the first show and other shows talent didn't begin to compare with this season. So, will I watch another show centered on the nasty, negative, preening Simon Cowell? Especialy not if it takes a lot of my time. I use my DVR so I can watch while the rest of the house is sleeping or not here as it is.

What's the format/time plan Bicker?

Things are still being determined, of course, but last I heard, it'll be four or five hours a week, culminating on Thursday night. I saw someone make what I thought was a reasonable prediction, that Sunday, Friday and Saturday nights would remain pretty much as they are, now; Monday would have the new Steven Spielberg fantasy drama (and FX bonanza) Terra Nova follow House; Bones would move from Thursday to Tuesday, and would therefore be following Glee; and then Wednesday and Thursday would be given over to X Factor entirely, thereby effectively displacing Lie To Me, Human Target, and crowding out all but perhaps one new drama, shoe-horned in, perhaps, after Fringe on Friday nights.
