Our XBox is at Best Buy to be repaired or replaced but I know where you're coming from. DH doesn't play but DS plays so much that I have trouble getting my turn sometimes.

My fiance is pretty much into Madden '09 but I think once we get Rock Band 2 or GH World Tour we will be able more video games together.

I actually bought Rock Band 2 a couple of months ago so we could play together! It's a lot of fun and I'm not a gamer. Before buying this the only games we played together were the Lego games (Lego Star Wars, Indiana Jones, etc).


My DH is currently playing Fallout on the PS3 but he's getting an X-Box and Gears of War 2 for Christmas. We started a rule after we were married a couple of months that there was to be minimal playing when I was home (he works an odd shift and I worked 16 hr days during tax season). This way he's happy he gets to play and I'm happy that we get to spend time together.

DH is hooked on Left 4 Dead, which is some zombie game or something. He just started playing it awhile ago, so it's still quite fresh. He used to play WoW a few years ago. I'm so thankful that phase has passed!

RB2 and GH (all of them) are AWESOME! Even I'll play those w/ DH. They are even better in a big group. You'll have a lot of fun w/ whichever game you decide on.

Dbf is like this...it's gotten much better though. When we first met he was on the thing all the time. We would get home and he would have to check on it He quit final fantasy and it's much better.

We are moving in together in April so we'll see what happens then!

I think that I have more time playing Call of Duty 4 and World at War than DH does lol. Hmmm, I'll have to ask him if he considers himself at WAW widower lol.

It's a great stress reliever to talk some smack and take down some people in a video game!!!!!!!!

As am I, so to feel included in his "World" I go to Cafepress and we look at all of the WoW T-shirts together. Some of our favorites. . . hmm can only think of two at the moment. . .

My TV didn't see network tv until I threw a fit last night and begged for something other than the stupid xbox, it had been days! DH has it streaming Netflix shows/movies and he's got this stupid demo for some game he played in college too that he stayed up until 3am playing the other night. Between him and DS that xbox gets a workout. The girls and I prefer the Wii.

GRRR XBox Live is alive and well in our home. But DFi/BF whatever he is, plays Madden '09...whenever he can. And whenever I'm on here and he's playing, he has a lag problem. But I have him convinced it's NOT for that reason. Thank goodness he's pretty much clueless about internet connections!!!

Try running a few speed tests while he's online. I did it to DH while he was beta testing Halo 2.
