To Wyndham Timeshare Owners (Bonnet Creek, Cypress Palms, Star Island, et al):
I want to make you aware of several forums that are actively discussing the recent (and past) changes that have been implimented to the FairShare Plus Program by Wyndham. Some of you may not be aware of what changes have been made and how it impacts your timeshare ownership.
One of the major changes is the elimination of points transfers between owners' accounts. This benefit will be terminated as of March 1, 2009. With the elimination of this benefit, owners will no longer be able to rent additional points from other owners and also rent their unused points to other owners. After this change goes into effect, the other alternative will be to rent points directly from Wyndham at a price, that they have just recently increased. Another major change is the huge price increase for guest certificates.
