Has anyone ever stayed at Wyndham Palms Golf Resort in Orlando? Hotelkingdom.com has great rates and you can't beat the villa. It looks great, has a huge jacuzzi tub and a kitchen. We need a fridge for baby food and such. The place looks fairly new...and I don't want to pay for Disney hotels because I will get much less at double the rate! And I am even talking FL Resident rates here.
Any experiences good or bad???
TIA

Hi Loretta,

We stayed at the Wyndham Palms last August through HotelKingdom.com and it was great. The Unit was fairly new and large. Our unit overlooked the part of the golf course. We were on the first floor of I believe building 22. I didn't like being so far from the pool. We had a problem with the master bedroom door, I called and it was fixed right away.
Would like to stay there again, but the rates are alittle high for me right now.
Hope you enjoy your stay.

Mary

We stayed there last July and also booked through hotelkingdom.com. We had a two bedroom unit in building 26. It was very, very nice. Over 1,500 square feet. Beautiful master bedroom with jacuzzi tub, full kitchen with washer and dryer.
55 inch tv. You really couldn't beat it.

We only stayed two nights, so we didn't use the pool or any other amenities. However, it was very conveniently located to WDW - a five minute drive.

It is a good choice for an off-site hotel.

We stayed here last September and found it to be very nice. We also got a great deal through hotel kingdom and found it to be more than worth the money.

We did not use the pool or anything so I can't speak about that. We would stay there again.

Hope this helps.

We stayed there in December through Hotel Kingdom. A great value! Lots of room. We did not use the pools or anything. Seems like they are going to be far away from your condo no matter where they put you.

Thanks for your input....
this helps ALOT! We have stayed at Marriott's vacation clubs and loved them but they are much more pricey for the dates we are looking at.

:) Hi. Just got back today. Stayed at Palms 3rd week of Feb. also same week last year. Units and grounds are great. Only has two pool complexs one with two pools so pools are very crowded and we find that compared to other resorts kids are more plentiful and ill behaved. Don't know why just our observation. Therefore, pleasant swimming next to impossible. Check in is also weird and long. They have free breakfast every morning by pool which is nice.
