Wyndham Palms Resort

Why are the rates so low at the Wyndham Palms resort and Country Club? Is there something we should know about?!
We have stayed at OKW and VV (which I found thru this board and loved). How does Wyndham Palms compare to these in terms of cleanliness, 2-bedroom villa size and condition, amenities, distance to park, etc. ? Is the resort area more the size of VV or OKW?

The Wyndham Palms resort is almost brand new looking. Everything about the kitchens and bathrooms were absolutely spotless and looked barely used.

The pictures seen on their website are EXACTLY how the villas look, as clean and as new.

According to the floor plans listed on their website, the 2 standard 2 bedroom is 1552 Sq. Ft. If you get a 2 bedroom lockout unit, it is 1700 Sq. Ft. (I'm sure this including the screened in patio) The 1 bedrooms listed on hotelkingdom.com are the smaller 650 Sq. Ft. unit. There is one other 1 bedroom size which is 1050 Sq. Ft.

This resort is about a 10 minute drive (no more) to the disney park gates.

If you scroll down to my post made about mid march, you can read thru & see all the weekly activities they offer. They are also located on Mystic Dunes Golf course and I believe luvstotravel said her husband was able to play for $75 discounted from $95. They also have a miniture golf course & basketball court.

We are taking a spur-of-the-minute trip and were able to book most of next week thru Hotel Kingdom. However, we still need Sunday, 4/6/03! Anybody know where I can book it?
