Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has stayed at the Wyndham recently and if so, what did you think, the good, the bad and the ugly (if any).

Thanks!!

We stayed there last April thru priceline for $60/night. We had 2 connecting rooms with 2 queen beds in each. We were facing Downtown Disney and could see the fireworks from Magic Kingdom. The only thing I hated was the parking. It is a huge resort and you end up parking far, far away. I thought it was a bargain for the price. The rooms were very clean and it is walking distance to Downtown Disney.

I was there last month and it was great. A beautiful hotel with very nice grounds and pool. Our king room was clean and spacious and everyone there was very helpful. The best part was getting 3 nights @ $70/per on priceline when the rooms were 189 every where else. One thing to note. It is not cheap. Actually it is quite expensive. I believe it is due to the hotel having great convention facilities and therefore they can get the prices from corporations and such. I can't comment on parking as we valeted.
12 or 14/per. Plus the 10/per resort fee. With the savings on priceline we mad out like bandit. Great deal, great place.

Thanks for your responses! I noticed you both went through Priceline. Is that like expedia or orbitz?

No, you actually bid on a price that you would like to pay. Go to biddingfortravel.com or betterbidding.com and they have instructions on how to get the best deal or what hotels come up.
Good Luck!

I have stayed there several times and never had a bad visit. I did have a broken safe on my last visit.

My suggestion on parking is to be sure to exit and enter via the convention center entrance, much easier then going up to the front door from the parking lot.

The Wyndam does a lot of convention business so it does not have the Disney touches you see at a Disney hotel, but I like being able to walk to DTD.

(And no Stacy I don't work for Wyndam!)
