Wyndham Palace DTD

Ok all you Wyndhamers out there.... I need help! I have convinced DH that we can go to DW for Labor Day weekend. We have the Wyndham for $33/night for 4 nights. Please give me all the info you got on the Wyndham - how's the pool? rooms, views, upper floor, lower floor, character breakfast, kids eat free??????? I read that somewhere... HELP.. We will arrive late on Thursday and will have Friday - Sunday for the parks and flying home on Monday at noon. So we have 3 days for fun... what to do??
DD LOVED the pool at BWV last year - how will she like the pool at Wyndham Palace??

You can signup at their website. We also used Priceline and had a beautiful view on the 24th floor. We were right across from DD and could see Planet Hollywood, Cirque, Rainforest etc. I don't know if being a member helped us to secure such a great view, but it can't hurt. We also received a fruit plate with bottled water. Our sons loved sitting out on the balcony. In the morning they must have spent over 30 minutes watching the seagulls. They also dropped bread crusts down and watched the gulls swoop for them. We were there in January, so we didn't go swimming. Have a great time!

When we stayed there last year we were on a lower floor but still had a great view of a little lake area with a fountain in the middle. It was nice to sit out on the balcony in the morning.

The pool was nice, there is a little kiddie pool and also a hot tub. Part of the pool is under an overhang so it's covered, that's where the hot tub is at. There is a towel guy down by the pool as well as a snack bar with drinks.

There is a playground right next to the pool, which my son loved.

I'm not sure if kids eat free, we ate at one of the nicer restaurants for dinner and we went to the deli every morning to pick up cereal, fruit, bagels, donuts etc...

The room was nice, the resort was nice, awesome location to Downtown Disney!

Ok, I have called the hotel and added my new Wyndham by request number to my reservation. The gentleman did so without question. HE ALSO requested a refridgerator for us.. $10/day with a max 3 day charge.. so if you stay there for 3 weeks you will only get charged $30 for the whole time!!! He requested an upper floor with a view of Epcot so that DD could watch the fireworks... his suggestion when I asked which view would be good for a 6 year old. And he put us in for late arrival, we will arrive about midnight.

ALSO - I STILL NEED LOTS OF INFO ON THE POOL SITUATION, PLEASE HELP!!
