Has anyone stayed at the Wyndham Palace recently? We just booked 8 days 7 nights for mid May on Priceline at $69.00 a night. Do they still offer the character breakfast? How were the rooms, pool, and service? I've heard that they will complete rennovations by April. Any truth to this? I've read a few things about moldy bathrooms and ceilings on a few other discussion boards (after we booked, of course)....

We stayed there last March so it was before the renovations. We thought it was a really nice hotel and an excellent location. We had a car so I can't tell you about the transportation. We went to the Sunday character breakfast (Minnie, Goofy and Pluto) and it was great, plus you don't need a PS!! The pool was nice and it was an easy walk to DTD. We didn't have any issues with our room - we were in a building near the pool and close to a pathway to DTD. The room was big and clean and so was the bathroom. We would have reserved there again this year but were able to get a room at WL with one of the codes. I think you'll be pleased with your choice, especially at the price you paid. Have a great trip!!:)

Thank You for your review !! I feel much better knowing that you enjoyed your stay.

I'm still wondering if anyone has recently returned since they've remodeled.

If you put your dates in on Hotwire and see what hotels come up it may give you an idea of what's available for your travel dates.

The Wyndham shows up as a 4 star hotel in the Lake Buena Vista area usally for $74 a night. The main amenity you would look for is the spa symbol.

We used this formula when we needed to add an extra day for our upcoming trip and once we were fairly sure we would receive either the Wyndham or Hilton we bid on Priceline( ended up with the Wyndham for $65 on a resort bid in WDW).

Of couse this is not a garuntee of which hotel you might receive, this is just another idea on how to help you make your deceision a little easier.

did it for July fourth weekend got a four star with a business center but no spa symbol. I guess I will book it direct. We are having dinner there at Artur 27 and wanted to be in the same building.

Thanks for your help will use it in the future.

for 2 days. We went over to Orlando 2 weeks ago for a weekend trip and went over and looked at the hotel. I did not see any signs of any resent renovations. It looks very nice but the carpet in the lobby is badly faded. If they did any renovations they sure should have replaced the carpet in the lobby. Other than that the place looked very nice. We will know more next week. I think for the price you are paying it is a fantastic place.
